Thankfully, earlier today, Gaetz withdrew his nomination. But the fact that Trump nominated him in the first place says everything we need to know about this administration’s agenda: revenge over justice, chaos over accountability.
Tulsi Gabbard: Director of National Intelligence
This is the role responsible for leading the U.S. intelligence community, and Trump’s pick is someone celebrated by Russian state media. Yes, really.
Tulsi Gabbard has defended Vladimir Putin, blamed the U.S. for Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, and spread conspiracy theories about secret bioweapons labs. Russian media even called her their “comrade.” Gabbard’s nomination is like handing our national security over to our adversaries.
RFK Jr.: Secretary of Health and Human Services

Remember the TV doctor who ran for Senate in Pennsylvania? Now he’s Trump’s pick to oversee Medicare and Medicaid.
Dr. Oz spent years promoting unproven supplements and fake cures—54% of his recommendations were either unsupported or directly contradicted by science. He’s also pushed for privatizing Medicare, which would devastate millions of Americans who rely on it.
Oz isn’t here to protect healthcare—he’s here to dismantle it.
Linda McMahon: Secretary of Education
Trump’s pick for Secretary of Education is Linda McMahon, former CEO of WWE. Her experience in education? She claimed to have a bachelor’s degree in education—a degree that doesn’t exist. This fictitious credential secured her appointment to the Connecticut State Board of Education, but she resigned just one day before a local paper exposed the lie.
Her time at WWE also raises serious concerns. McMahon was recently sued for ignoring allegations of sexual abuse within the company. If your goal is to dismantle public education, this nominee makes sense. If your goal is to actually lead, protect, and improve education, she’s an absurd choice.
